The first room we were allocated had a massive chunk of concrete missing from the shower floor. We were then offered a smaller lesser quality room which we said not thanks too, we then were offered another room and then we were told it wasn't available any longer and eventually got checked into a room (the same as we had booked and paid for) after 1 hour. One staff in particular was actually directly rude to us about not accepting the smaller room. This was really the only interaction we had with the staff over the four days as they are only really on the reception desk. No other staff member really interacted with us at all! The pool is so tiny only one person can swim in it at one time, but the spa was lovely - obviously be aware that men are going to be naked in it! Great little coffee machine in the room and a mini fridge which was also useful. It is quite a walk to the main sites - around one hour, but once you work out the U Bahn this is not an issue Good location, but the hotel is similar to a good premier inn in quality so be prepared for this.

Nice hotel, clean and not too crowded. We booked a suite, on arrival were informed that it meant apartment! We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge/diner with open plan kitchen, which was handy to keep drinks in the fridge cool as it was unexpectedly hot in Berlin. There is no air con, but windows can open on slant or wide so we managed. Bathrooms were excellent, with towels and hand wash, body lotion, shampoo conditioner and shower gel, but I always prefer my own. Hair drier was good, better than most small ones you get in Europe. The flooring is wooden and seems to need a freshen up as well as the kitchen cupboard doors, nice to have a coffee machine in room . Breakfast was nice and adequate with enough variety, you can ask for anything additionally that you may not see. There’s lactose free and soya milk if you wish and gluten free items. Dinner was nice but could do with more choices if you’re planning a second visit for dinner, as menu seems quite limited. We are on the third floor with lots of trees outside our window which is lovely and only a short walk to the main shopping area. Oh and I’ve never been to a hotel with so much storage in the bedrooms! there is so much space to store your clothes and items so it can stay quite tidy.

We had two connecting rooms, which was great as the kids had a room of their own. Nice hotel in a good location. Staff was great, bar was great. The pool was a bit small but the sauna etc and gym area were great. The rooms were a bit weird as you could see into the shower from the bedroom and the beds were a bit too firm, but overall I would go back

This is a three and a half star ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ Pros: very close to Augsburgerstrasse Ubahn and Kadewe. Good firm mattress. And the dinner in the hotel restaurant is good quality. You can stream from your netflix app but the max volume on the tv is really really low which spoils the pleasure somehow. Other cons: the hotel is so warm that you have to sleep with the window open in February (at least there WAS a window I could open). Every morning I was awoken by either drilling from building work in the hotel or from staff on their break outside in their back yard ‘staff room’ shouting. Housekeeping was up and down, I was there for 6 nights, and some days housekeeping would leave empty kleenex boxes in my room or forget to give me clean cups and glasses and everyday without exception they would unplug my laptop from charging (I suppose for vacuuming) but NEVER plug it back in when they finished the room. The only time I tried the breakfast it cost me 25 Euro (!!!) and I had to clean the table myself before sitting down. Coffee was horrible so bring your own cafétiere if you book this hotel or use the espresso machine in your room, there is also a kettle. Good luck!

The price is good . The spa area very nice. The fitness center too. Breakfast tasty. The staff is kind . The bed is convenient . There is mini fridge for use ( free). There is a supermarket good local restaurant and underground u3 very close to the hotel
